Hello Nitish
Kindly send summary of first class
In today’s class we have studied about the need of computing, and the Applications of computing such as Weather Forecasting,In Satellites,Genome Project, etc.
We studied about Evolution of computer and America tried to build the super computer and the India’s parallel computer PARAM which was build on the system of Distriuted.
NASA’s Project on Mars Rover.
We also studied about the types of computing
1. Utility computing
2. Cluster computing
3. Grid computing
Fynns Taxonomy
Models
* Shared Memory Models.
*Distributed Memory Models.
Cloud computing is a marketing term for technologies that provide computation, software, data access, and storage services that do not require end-user knowledge of the physical location and configuration of the system that delivers the services. A parallel to this concept can be drawn with the electricity grid, wherein end-users consume power without needing to understand the component devices or infrastructure required to provide the service.

we have learnt about cloud services, computing resources by cloud computing, cloud vs traditional computing, and various definitions of cloud computing by wikipedia,Gartner’s, layman’s defin.,berkely, buyyas etc. about virtualization.we also learnt about the Evolution of cloud
from mainframes, personal,Network, Client server web ,grid to cloud computing..we also learnt about anotomy of cloud computing.
Today
We have learnt about Iaas, vendor provides , Platform as a service(Paas), Software as a Servie(Saas). Cloud computing service models,Web Services.UDDetc
I 3rd Class Summary
1.Service and deployment models
2.Virtualization is abstracting the hardware to run virtual instances of multiple guest operating systems on a single host operating system.
3.Users of the Cloud only need to be concerned with the computing service being asked for, as the underlying details of how it is achieved are hidden.
4.Definition from NIST :Cloud computing is model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access
5.Berkley:“ The data center hardware and software is what we will call a cloud".
6.Gartner defines cloud computing as " a style of computing where massively scalable IT-enabled capabilities are delivered as a service to external customers using Internet technologies.
7.The Anatomy of Cloud Computing
